Welcome to the Texas International Cotton School!
Join professionals from around the world and interact with top cotton experts at a two-week intensive school. Graduates of this program understand U.S. cotton production, processing and marketing systems, and see the latest machinery and equipment to make valuable business contacts.
The Texas International Cotton School is sponsored and managed by the Lubbock Cotton Exchange in cooperation with the Texas Tech University Fiber and Biopolymer Research Institute (FBRI). It is uniquely structured to provide integrated understanding of the U.S. cotton industry and how it interacts with the global cotton and textile companies. Emphasis is placed on high volume instruments (HVI), cotton marketing segments, cotton breeding, and research tours. Class sessions are held at the FBRI to utilize facilities in fiber and textile study.
